Odense Congress Center
Odense Congress Center (OCC) is one of Denmark’s largest event and conference centers, welcoming thousands of guests every year to trade fairs, concerts, exhibitions, and business meetings. With such a wide variety of events and visitors, it was crucial for OCC to find a digital signage and meeting room solution that was intuitive, scalable, and easy to manage across the entire venue.
The Challenge
With a venue the size of OCC, clear communication and efficient navigation are essential. OCC needed a digital solution that could:
- Help guests with wayfinding through large and complex facilities.
- Provide dynamic event communication both indoors and outdoors.
- Offer intuitive meeting room management integrated with their existing booking system (Picasso).
- Be easy for staff to update and maintain with just a few clicks.
The Solution
To meet these needs, OCC chose NordicScreen as a partner and implemented three core solutions:
Q-Play for digital signage:
OCC uses Q-Play to manage all their digital signage—from large wayfinding screens guiding guests around the venue to indoor and outdoor screens promoting upcoming events. With Q-Play, OCC can instantly update all content from one central platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for guests.
Q-Host for meeting room screens:
OCC’s meeting rooms are equipped with Q-Host screens, giving staff and guests a clear overview of which rooms are booked, by whom, and for how long. This makes it easy to navigate between meetings and avoid confusion.
Q-Cal for system integration:
To ensure the meeting room screens work smoothly with OCC’s existing booking system, Picasso, the Q-Cal solution was implemented. Q-Cal provides seamless integration so all bookings in Picasso automatically sync with the meeting room screens.
